Easy Blueberry Muffins

Sometimes simple is best! These muffins use fresh (I like best) or frozen blueberries.

1/2 c butter, softened

1 c sugar

2 eggs

1/2 c milk

2 c flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

2 c blueberries

2 T sugar, for sprinkling the tops

Cream together the butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well; stir in milk. Add all dry ingredients; stir to combine. Gently fold in blueberries. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full – sprinkle tops with a little sugar. Bake in a preheated 375 oven for about 20 minutes or until lightly brown.

Makes 12-15 muffins
